We are Honeymooners Again

Son and Grandson have moved into a nice 32 foot long travel trailer at the Sutter Street Mobile Home Park. After seven months we are once again alone. I still haven't started to relax. It is like I know something is going to happen and I need to be prepared. A few days of the calm we have had tonight and I should be able to relax and enjoy our home, a sanctuary away from the hazzles the world has to offer.
Roy, still single Grandson, came to visit today. He is working, single, and able to buy neat toys. He has a nice Cannon camera and a brand new laptop computer. The screen on his laptop is bigger than the screen on my first PC.

Independence

LeeRoy and I will be facing empty nest syndrome one more time. Otha Lee and his son are moving out tomorrow. We will have the house to ourselves. They will be independent and we will be free. The first time we faced empty nest I was afraid our marriage would not work out. I took my classes to become a teacher. LeeRoy supported me and was my rock. He often had to sleep with textbooks. Our marriage thrived.
It will be nice to once again do things my way that I am confortable with and come back later and find them the way I left them. LeeRoy will enjoy being able to find his tools. We will be able to worry less about things and enjoy our home and the wonderful gifts God has given us. The past few months there has been such a negative feeling in this house. It will be good to have the Holy Spirit filling our home once again.

Freedom is on my mind during July. Our freedom of religion is one of the greatest gifts we have.
